Budapest, 16 December 2024 – Tibor Varga will compete in MotoE, the World Championship for electric motorcycles, the feature race during the Hungarian MotoGP race weekend on August 22-24 2025 and will race on the same weekend as the 2024 World Champion, the  Spanish Jorge Martín, or the legendary Marc Márquez. Ticket sales for the race will begin on Wednesday morning, 18 December on motogpofhungary.com. Tickets for the weekend are the cheapest in the region, with children tickets starting from €20 and adult tickets from €150. For the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) race on 25-27 July, standard tickets are available from €60 on superbikeofhungary.com. The races are organized and promoted by HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency Zrt., and will be held at the Balaton Park Circuit in Balatonfőkajár.

The MotoGP weekend will feature races from the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE categories, the latter being the electric motorcycle world championship. During the Superbike weekend, the event lineup will include Superbike, Supersport 600, and the newly launched Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) category, which began in 2024. As the promoter of both events, HUMDA is working to ensure that the Hungarian audience has the chance to cheer for as many Hungarian riders as possible.

So far, Tibor Varga’s participation in the Saturday race is confirmed. The bronze medalist in the 600 Stock category of the Circuit Racing Spanish Championship (ESBK) will compete in the MotoE series in 2025 with HUMDA’s support. Racing for the Italian Snipers team, he  will take part in the MotoGP feature race at Balaton Park Circuit on August 22–24, 2025.

“This is a dream come true to be able to race in front of my home crowd. This moment will finally come in 2025 with the support of HUMDA, it’s an indescribable feeling. I know how much the fans’ encouragement can mean to racers, and I already feel their support. They will be with me in every corner, every acceleration. I will enjoy every moment and give my all to prove myself worthy of their trust. With a bit of luck, I truly believe I might even secure a podium finish. There’s no greater force than the support of the home crowd,” emphasized Tibor Varga.

“The day has arrived that many of us have been waiting for. I am thrilled to announce that the ticket sale has begun for the Hungarian MotoGP and Superbike races. To make the decision easier, ticket prices are the cheapest in the region. These will be special events in 2025, and as always, the best seats will sell out quickly, so do not wait too long. There is even time to make these tickets a special surprise under the Christmas tree. We know that gift shopping can be challenging, but we aim to simplify the process for you.. This is not just a simple ticket, it is a gateway to unforgettable moments. There is no better gift than a lasting memory that you will treasure forever,” said Balázs Weingartner, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency Zrt.

The MotoGP Sunday ticket for children costs €18 and the weekend ticket is €20, available for those who have not yet turned 14 years old on the day of the event.

Sunday adult tickets range from €135 to €210 depending on the sector, while weekend tickets are priced between €150 and €230. For Superbike, junior tickets are the same price, Sunday adult tickets range from €55 to €90 depending on the sector, and weekend tickets are available for €60 to €100. Wheelchair users and one companion can purchase discounted tickets from €80 for MotoGP and from €40 for Superbike. Temporary grandstands will be set up in various sectors where spectators can buy tickets for designated seats. For Superbike, a Paddock-Experience add-on ticket will also be available. Each customer can purchase a maximum of ten tickets at a time. In line with international practice, customers will receive their tickets by email a few weeks before the event, rather than at the time of purchase to reduce the risk of them being misplaced. Valid tickets must be presented in digital or printed form upon entry. VIP tickets will also be available for purchase, but will go on sale at a later date. Due to the terrain of the circuit, standing tickets, which are often available at other races and series, will not be offered at the Balatonfőkajár events. However, the ticket prices still remain the most affordable among motorcycle races in the region.

For detailed access and parking information, it is recommended to check the websites motogpofhungary.com and superbikeofhungary.com or their social media pages in the weeks leading up to the races. Separate parking spaces will be provided for those arriving by motorbike and for wheelchair users who purchase wheelchair tickets to facilitate on-site mobility. Tickets can be purchased with a credit card. Further detailed information about purchasing tickets is available on the mentioned websites. HUMDA developed the ticket price structure based on the framework determined by Dorna Sports, the international rights holder. Partly due to this and because of the involvement of a foreign ticketing partner is why the price and payment is in euros. Tickets for the races will be on sale on several websites, but the most affordable prices will always be offered on motogpofhungary.com and superbikeofhungary.com, the official partner platform.”. Fans are advised to avoid websites where tickets are significantly overpriced.
